{"id":951,"date":"2012-04-18T22:56:41","date_gmt":"2012-04-18T19:56:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newage.ql.lt\/blog\/?p=951"},"modified":"2023-01-30T22:47:43","modified_gmt":"2023-01-30T20:47:43","slug":"riga22-progress-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/9v.lt\/blog\/riga22-progress-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Riga22 progress update 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Time to write another progress update, this time it isn&#8217;t very large, probably all of them weren&#8217;t, but one thing&#8217;s certain &#8211; it&#8217;s coming to an end :D and I am very happy about it too&#8230; spend lots of time and work with it and today I managed to get the engine to start&#8230; what a great feeling it was :D<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nSo the engine is now mounted, wheels attached, all the cables connected and tweaked, all is left is really not that much:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Replace rubber handles<\/li>\n<li>Put inner tube in front tire<\/li>\n<li>Wash out the massive rust attack from the inside of a gas tank<\/li>\n<li>Put the gas tank back<\/li>\n<li>Put on minor decals<\/li>\n<li>Some other stuff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That&#8217;s basically it&#8230; it&#8217;s now almost assembled, need to put electronics on it back like it was and it&#8217;s giving me a headache, because there is no descent information about it and my version has a little twist with turn lights.<br \/>\nSchematics aren&#8217;t very professional either, so understanding them by looking is a bit hard.<br \/>\nThis is what my stock schematic looks like:<\/p>\n<div class=\"row mt-3 mb-3\">\n<div class=\"col-md-3 g-0 m-2\"><a href=\"\/blog\/filemgmt\/uploads\/Riga22\/LkBISUC.jpg\" rel=\"wpdevart_lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/filemgmt\/uploads\/Riga22\/LkBISUC.jpg\"><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>All the manual specific for this model (Riga-22) was posted in <a href=\"http:\/\/9v.lt\/blog\/?p=893\" title=\"Riga-22 moped \u2013 the beginning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">my first post<\/a>: <a href=\"http:\/\/upload.evilzone.org\/download.php?id=7418688&amp;type=zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">7418688.zip<\/a>.<br \/>\nAlso I found this old Russian book about moped and motorcycle repair that covers 3 types of them. Not bad reference when you are stuck with something: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediafire.com\/?hnor0t452shghdp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Download<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also I ordered <a href=\"http:\/\/dx.com\/12v-12-led-car-brake-signal-light-bulbs-white-2-pack-25523\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LED stop lights<\/a> which came in yesterday.
